I’m back to Romance Weekly as regular this week! Nice to get back into it, I missed these weekly posts π
If youβve joined me from the lovely Jami Denise, then welcome!
So, this week, Elizabeth Janette has asked us what is on our TBR list.
As I said last week in my Books and Reading post, Iβm trying to get a lot more organised with my TBR list, so as I actually get to read the books I want instead of forgetting them under the ever-growing pile! π
But I am not that organised yet, and only have a few planned, though I did just finish the first book that was on the list (a beta-read for someone, which was great fun).
So here are the next 4 books that I actually have planned on my TBR list:
– The Creative Writing Workbook by Mathew Branton
– Thyme in a Flask by Glenn Quarry (Book for Review)
– The Woodcutter by Kate Danley (Reading Challenge- A book written by a female author)
– Random Library Book (Shelf number 4, book number 7)
So there you have it! The next books on my list.
Now hop on over to Elizabeth Janette and see whatβs on her list, you never know if you mind find a book that interests you!
What books are on your reading list? Have you managed to read any yet this year?
Great thinking getting your TBR under control! π
I’ve managed to read 5 books already this year which has surpassed my expectations. Whether I’ll manage to keep up that momentum remains to be seen however π
Blimey! 5? I was pretty happy with getting just one read π Hope the momentum stays with you!
Good luck organizing that list. Nice to have you back with us
It’s nice to be back π Surprising how much I missed these weekly posts and catching up with all you ladies!
Organize the TBR list. I there such a thing?
At the moment, it doesn’t feel like there is such a thing! π My word, it is certainly a mammoth task!
I put my book list on the sidebar of my blog after last weeks chat, did you see it? Its a collage of all the book covers. Of course there are a lot more than that, but it would fill my sidebar lol. They’re all Indies, too. I dont think I’ve read a trad pubbed book in a long time! Good luck with sorting your list! π
I did see it! I think it looks like a great idea, and also good for other people to see new books they might like to read!
I know what you mean, when I looked back at last year’s reading, I think it was the indie books that I remembered and enjoyed the most! π
What?! I’m supposed to organize the list. OMG. I’m in trouble.
Organising the list seemed like a good idea at the time… now I’m wondering though π It certainly is a huge task to take on! I didn’t realise I had so many books I want to read!
Welcome back. Missed you! Must check out that creative writing one.
Thank you for the kind comment, it’s nice to be back! π I’m going to start on that creative writing book today, it’s one with practical writing exercises, so I’m hoping it will really make me think!
The Creative Writing Workbook. Hmmm… That seems familiar somehow.
I wonder why that is… π
I’m going to be starting it today! I’m really excited. Wish me luck, and thank you again for getting it for me!
Reblogged this on theowlladyblog.
I love reading creating writing books and others to inspire and motivate. Good luck with the organization – for a TBR that’s a challenge in itself.
Very true, trying to get the TBR list organised is taking waaay longer than I thought it would π
I love craft books. Adding that one to my list. =)
It looks amazing, I’m going to start it today. It’s all practical writing exercises, so it should really get my creative muscles moving! π
I didn’t know there was such a thing as organizing a TBR, I must try this π
I know, right? π Took me until this year to finally just look at all the scraps of paper and notes with books titles and decide to do something about it!
Hope you find the time to finish reading all those books!
Me too π Really hoping being more organised will help me reach my reading goal!
Thank you so much for commenting π
I need to add more writing resources to my book list. At the moment I’m reading purely fiction, which is rather remiss of me! Glad to have these posts back too π
I didn’t read many craft books last year, but it’s part of m goals this year to read craft books at least every fourth book in my list! π Should be fun, and interesting!
I definitely need to reorganize my TBR list!
Will also add the craft book to my list.
My TBR list was written on lots of scraps of paper and notes in different notepads, so I knew I needed to condense it all somehow π
Good luck with your list! π
