Back to Romance Writers Weekly this week π
Welcome to those of you joining from the very talented Fiona Riplee!
This week the task was- Give us the inside scoop on your writing space.
My writing space has changed a lot since last year, when I was trying my best to manage all my writing and notes whilst typing on a small table in front of the sofa!
Over my break, I managed to create a small little office space in my room and, even though itβs a bit of a mess sometimes with all my notes, itβs great to have a dedicated writing area.
Itβs handy having a smaller space as everything I need is right in reach! And my new whiteboard is really useful for listing my tasks for the month, week, and day (I work much better when I have a list of goals to tick off).
Though it might not be the prettiest or most organised space, it is perfect for me π
Do you have certain way of organising your writing space?
Why not go see what LaNora Manganoβs space looks like? You might get some ideas for your own!

That’s great you have a designated writing space now π
It is nice to have somewhere of my own, somewhere quiet and out of the way. Certainly helps keep my focus! π

Love the whiteboard. What a great idea! I’m so disorganized I probably need one of these just to keep everything in one place, staring me in the face everyday to remind me what needs to be done.
That’s exactly why I need it! π If I don’t list down what I need and have it in sight all the time, it completely skips my mind.

I like the idea of having a checklist as well. I’d probably do a better job of staying on task if I made mine the size of your white board. Love that and the window! ( And Harli is beautiful.)
My checklist is the thing I live by π Can’t do without it now!
Thank you so much for commenting π And Harli know how beautiful she is, and uses that regularly to get a few too many treats!
Love the whiteboard idea. I use sticky notes up the wazoo. A white board would be so much better.
I used to have notes everywhere of tasks that needed to be completed, and the whiteboard really is so much easier to manage now π

Every serious writer should have their own writing space! Mine is in a corner of my kitchen, which is a little too handy for the snack cupboard and coffee machine lol! Which are also essential requirements for the productive writer! Your space is just perfect, and just look at the results coming out of it!
My space is in my bedroom, which I hoped would help keep my cravings and tea-obsession at bay, but that didn’t work much π
Thank you so much for commenting and the compliment π
I love that sunshine, too! A window is a must for me. I think the whiteboard idea. I don’t have one but I do make a goal list to tackle. Helps keep me focused!
It is nice having a window right next to me, even in the winter gloom it’s nice to be able to see out to nature and be a bit inspired!

Harli is cute! Thanks for sharing your writing space with us, Mishka – I’m going to get me a whiteboard this year – for sure.
Harli is a cutey and she definitely knows it!

I bet it’s hard to write with the puppy hanging out over the keyboard. Love that you have a dedicated space now.
Yeah, Harli certainly wasn’t the most helpful when I had to do my writing downstairs π It is good to have somewhere separate to concentrate now though.

Looks like it’s all well organized. A white board is a great idea.
I do try to keep it organised, though that is easier some days than others! π

I have to confess, I tried to zoom in on that picture, to try and get a sneak peek as to what you’re working on next. Alas, it didn’t come in clear enough to see.
You probably don’t want to see it up close, there are so many things on that list to check off and I have barely done any yet! π
March is gonna be a busy, busy month! (Well, hopefully, if I can get myself going!)
OMG your dog is beautify Mishka! And your writing space is awesome! Down to business girl!
She is beautiful, unfortunately she does know how to use that to her advantage! π

I love your writing space! I wish I could create something like that, but unfortunately all I have is my laptop and sofa.
All I had was the sofa and laptop last year, but at least it’s somewhere to write, right? π And it obviously works for you, because the poetry you write is stunning!

I love your little writing space! ^-^ Mine is similar, being a largish desk in the living room. Looking at your setup, I really feel like I need a little cork board to tack my lists up on.
The task list seems like a popular idea with a lot of people π Mine is out of necessity, because if I don’t have the tasks staring me in the face I forget far too easily!

Your writing space looks so cute and cozy! (It’s also a lot more organized than mine) XD I also like your whiteboard checklist- it’s a good idea that I might have to steal!
The whiteboard idea really was a popular one! I would highly recommend trying it out, it certainly helps to keep me more organised π

I like your space! It’s so organized. (Harli’s pretty cute, too.) π I need to have a to-do list, too, or I never get anything done.
Great space! I totally need a whiteboard. I have a magnetized bulletin board with butterfly magnets that I sometimes use to storyboard. But a whiteboard I can erase would be great to have.
I have a very tiny writing space, too–squashed between the kitchen and living room at my teenie tiny roll top desk. I like it!
